If the husband remarries after his death, he may still fulfill his obligation to support his parents in law. Article 1129 of the Civil Code stipulates: "If a widowed daughter-in-law fulfills the primary obligation of supporting her in laws, or if a widowed son-in-law fulfills the primary obligation of supporting her father-in-law or mother-in-law, she shall be the first in order inheritor.". Although she remarried after her husband's death, she has always fulfilled her obligation to support her in laws, and the claim for inheritance should be supported.
