1、 What is the SBTi Science Carbon Target Initiative?
The SBTi (Scientific Carbon Targets Initiative) is a global initiative jointly launched by the Carbon Disclosure Project (CDP), the United Nations Global Compact (UNGC), the World Resources Institute (WRI), and the World Wildlife Fund (WWF), aimed at increasing the ambition of businesses, encouraging them to take more proactive emission reduction actions and solutions, and jointly addressing global climate change. By setting science based carbon emission targets through SBTi, companies can identify the necessary emission reductions required for their operations to meet the Paris Agreement's goal of limiting warming to 1.5 degrees Celsius, thereby achieving their own carbon neutrality goals.
According to official information from SBTi, as of the end of December 2023, approximately 6849 institutions worldwide have signed the Science Carbon Target Initiative, committing to setting scientific carbon targets. Currently, 526 enterprises in our country have signed commitment letters, of which 226 have already received approval for their carbon targets. (The specific list can be found on the SBTi official website)

Greenhouse gas emissions:
Organize activities related to emission reduction:
1、 Water saving management
1. The office formulates a water use plan for the management department based on the water use indicators issued by the Municipal Water Conservation Office.
2. The application for water supply for new or developed projects shall be submitted by the office and approved by the supervisor of the management department. Part time personnel are responsible for inspecting and repairing pipelines on the construction site to reduce waste caused by running, emitting, dripping, and leaking water.
3. Each unit should gradually implement water meter measurement according to the actual situation to reduce water resource waste.
2、 Energy saving management
1. Each distribution room in the electric field must have professional personnel responsible, establish a sound job responsibility system, carefully fill in operation records, and be responsible for the quality and safety of power supply.
2. The power load of office buildings, conference rooms, etc. should be controlled by separate switches. The person in charge of electricity in the above-mentioned places should check the energy-saving situation of people leaving the machine and turning off the lights when people leave at any time.
3. When updating equipment, all departments of the management department should consider phasing out high-energy mechanical and electrical equipment and strive to replace them with energy-saving technology new products.
4. It is strictly prohibited to privately connect electric furnaces and other electrical appliances.
3、 Relying on technology to accelerate technology development and promotion
